Proprietor
A farmer by DNA and a learner by heart. Hailing from Madurantagam, Prabakar began as a sales executive and built 25+ years of on-ground experience with brands like Aquafil (now DOMO), SABIC, Dow Chemicals and Lyondellbasell. Active member of the Indian Plastics Institute (IPI), AIPMA and TAPMA.

An IIT alumnus and early adopter of upcycling technologies for post-consumer PET waste in Karur. Builder of RENGA | FBRE, YRN, EcoLine clothing brand and FLUSHBRIC — and an active investor in sustainability-led startups.
Business Development
With 9+ years of expertise, Desika pours her passion into sustainability. An Anna University graduate in Industrial Biotechnology, she has built and transferred technologies including plastic-degrading enzymes and nano-bioplastics for major corporations such as Tata Steel. She has worked at IIT Madras and the National University of Singapore on upcycling technologies, with her research contributing to publications that have received 1,000+ citations.
Operations
One of the hardest workers you will find, Ramki is a double MBA graduate who started from the ground up to build extensive technical knowledge in plastics. With 7+ years of experience progressing from ground-level work to managing day-to-day operations, he is a valued asset to the Leo Impex team.
